About Us
It has been 67 years since we embraced the path of Buddhism. Even today, we only celebrate events like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Mahaparinirvan Din, Dhammachakra Pravartan Day, Buddha Pournima, and Bhima Koregaon. We also participate in Dhamma conferences, programs of awareness songs, Dhamma discourses by the Bhikkhu Sangha, political events, Samata Sainik Dal gatherings, and front-line training camps.
However, the very next day after these programs, we tend to forget the thoughts and teachings of our great leaders. In all these events, no one talks about establishing training centers. No one feels the need for such centers. But we are aware that our society needs proper training. Only then can we achieve political, religious, social, educational, and economic fulfillment
Other religions have their training systems in place — for example, Hindus have Haripath, kirtans, and religious discourses; Muslims have Madrasas; Christians have church teachings; Sikhs have Gurudwara teachings. These religious communities provide structured training at their places of worship.
But there is no structured training system for our Dhamma.
That is why we are committed to fulfilling Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s vision of a Dhamma revolution and making the entire nation embrace Buddhism. Through our trust, we have resolved to establish a training center in every district of Maharashtra.
In line with this vision, in Buldhana district, at Lonavadi village, Taluka Nandura — in a serene natural environment near a dam — Mr. Santosh Bhimrao Tayade has generously donated his own 2 acres (81R) of land from Khadtgaon Shivar to our trust. Thus, the very first training center is being established in Buldhana district. The estimated cost of this training center is around ₹10 to ₹15 crore. Out of this, we only need to raise 15% of the funds. The remaining 85% will be provided by the government.
